Please arrive at the Tenikwa Wildlife Rehabilitation & Awareness Center reception 15 minutes before the activity starts and proceed to Reception when you arrive. GPS Co-ordinates 33° 57′ 39.92″ S / 23° 29′ 50.03″ E DRIVING From Plettenberg Bay (Nearest Airports in Plettenberg Bay and George, car hire must be arranged beforehand) 20 minutes from Plettenberg Bay is the nearest town to Tenikwa. Drive approximately 20 km from Plettenberg Bay towards Port Elizabeth on the N2 National Highway. Look out for a big Tourism Signboard that says “Monkeyland, Birds of Eden, Elephant Sanctuary, Tenikwa” Turn right at the Kurland Village Turnoff which is opposite this sign Continue on this district road (Forest Hall Rd) and keep left when the road forks. ( If you go down Animal Alley, you’ve gone the wrong way. Turn around and at the T-junction, turn right.). There is a Tenikwa Signpost with a white arrow showing you to keep left. Keep left at the fork. Tenikwa is approx 900m further along the road

- The forest walk is leisurely and mostly flat. It is not suitable for wheelchairs or prams.
- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your tour
- Parking is available at Reception
- Please lock all valuables and backpacks in your vehicle
- Cameras may be taken on tour. No Selfie-sticks are allowed on tour
- Comfortable walking shoes, along with a sun hat and sun protection lotion are advised. Mosquito repellent is recommended for in the forest (malaria free area)
- No Touching or feeding of wildlife allowed.
- If you choose the early time slot, you will do the wildlife tour first, then the forest walk. If you choose the later time slot, you will do the forest walk first, and then the wildlife tour
