Aboard the boat, a knowledgeable guide will help you spot a variety of wildlife, including white-faced monkeys, howler monkeys, herons, and diverse migratory birds. Keep an eye out for sleepy-eyed crocodiles sunning themselves on the riverbanks or gliding through the water. The Tempisque River is renowned for its abundance of wildlife, making it a prime location for nature enthusiasts and photographers. As you cruise along the river, you'll also have the chance to see iguanas, basilisks, and various species of waterfowl. Bird watchers will be delighted by the sight of over one hundred species of birds, including night herons, wood storks, roseate spoonbills, cattle egrets, and great egrets, thriving in their natural habitat. The tour continues with a drive through the sugar cane fields of Guanacaste, where you'll learn about local culture and traditions.
