THE PICASSO MUSEUM (admission not included: 8 euros) In 1920, Pablo Picasso arrived in Antibes to spend the summer and began painting in the Château Grimaldi, now the famous Musée Picasso. The museum houses one of the largest collections of paintings, sculptures, ceramics, and drawings by the Spanish artist. The permanent collection includes over 245 works by Picasso, from 1919 to 1946. After the guide’s explanations, you’ll have some free time.

During this 2 hour walking tour, we will explore the port (where the tour will start), with its heritage boats and luxury yachts. We will have a look at the popular Gravette beach, before admiring the famous "Nomade" sculpture overlooking the sea and the Fort Carré (Square Fort). We will then enter the old town through the ramparts to discover the medieval streets. We will see the cathedral and the Picasso museum from outside, before strolling at the lively market.
