From Phuket/Khaolak: Similan Islands Early Bird Day Trip

best tour ever!! I almost cry when i was able to swim next to a turtle in the ocean. The early bird tour is perfect if you want to catch the place with a bit less people. I sae many many fishes, even the ones from finding Nemo lol. Marcos our tour guide was very knowledgeable as well and always kept us informed of each part of the tour. Don't think twice, the price is totally worth it!

The pickup was very timely for the early bird trip, around 4:30 for me in Phuket Old Town, which was impressive as I expected a bit of a delay. Nothing special about the breakfast at the pier, pretty basic stuff, coffee, fruits, bread and eggs. The speedboat ride was pretty smooth, considering the route, a back seat recommended for people affected by sea sickness. Our initial tour was rescheduled due to bad weather and even the next day, we missed out on Donald Duck bay, as the park officials put up a red flag, but after that the trip was amazing. Three times snorkeling, a hefty lunch by the beach and almost two 1 hour sessions to spend at the beach, to swim or just relax. Great variety of fish in two of three snorkeling spots and at the princess beach, if you take swimming goggles, you could see fish right by you. Great staff, very punctual and professional. The driver, very kind, the tour guide, very helpful and knowledgavle and also a shoutout to the speedboat operator.
