Meeting point
Check in at the GetYourGuide store, located across the street from Versailles Château Rive Gauche train station. Then, be escorted by your guide to the Palace, which is a 10-minute walk from the shop. Find the office next to Café Madeleine. Please be aware that the train from Paris to Versailles takes approximately 1 hour. Please note that due to scheduled refurbishments on line RER C, from the 15th of July to the 23rd of August, the trains are not running between the stations PARIS AUSTERLITZ and Versailles Chateau Rive Gauche. There are 2 options with public transport: 1. Take a train to the Versailles Rive Droite station (Take line L via Saint Lazare or La Défense) then it's a 25-minute walk to the meeting point. 2. Take a train to Versailles Chantiers station (Take line N via Montparnasse or line U via La Défense) then it's a 15-minute walk to the meeting point.

Know before you go
- The time on your voucher is the meeting time at our shop (the tour starts a few minutes later).
- Please do not go directly to the Versailles Palace. Instead, come to the meeting point to meet your guide
- Arriving on time is essential. Late arrivals cannot be refunded or guaranteed access to the Palace, and rescheduling fees will apply
- From Paris, take the train to "Versailles Château Rive Gauche" and buy a Metro-Train-RER ticket. Plan your route in advance using your navigation app (the journey takes about 1 hour)
- During peak season, the palace can be crowded and there may be a short wait at the group entrance due to safety controls
- The palace gardens are free only from November to March, with no garden tickets needed. (Prices are adjusted accordingly) There are no fountain shows during this period.
