From Parga: Magical Meteora Tour

From Parga: Magical Meteora Tour

The Rocks between earth and sky. This trip will take you deep in mainland of Greece to the group of six medieval monasteries each one balanced precariously on rock pinnacles rising up from plain. In the 14th and 15th centuries monasteries were made as places of refuge in troubled times and access to them too was extremely difficult, requiring either long ladders lashed together or a windlass and rope pulling up net, for goods and humans. Things remained much the same until the 1920’s when steps were carved into the rock allowing for easier access. It is difficult to imagine how the monasteries were built on their pinnacles in the first place. There is definitely a very special energy in this place that brings a sense of peace and serenity. Meteora and the impressive monasteries are included in the UNESCO "World Heritage sites" list and without a doubt should be on everyone’s must see list when in Greece. Booking this tour allows you to simply relax and enjoy the ride instead of renting a car and trying to find your own way to Meteora.

The tour was canceled due to bad weather conditons, they were really flexible to rebook the following day. . Very clean boat. Professional crew! Easygoing and serviceminded. Music perfect, not too loud. The swims were great. The cave was exciting, felt a little adrenaline in the waves. Just the right amount of time at each activity. Good size of the boat, changing rooms etc, all very good! Would strongly recommend.

We had a very nice tour. Informative tour guide in numerous languages, who was also able to keep quiet when there was nothing to talk about. The destination, Parga, is a very pretty town. The length of stay was appropriate. The opportunity to swim at the Blue Lagoon was well received. On the way back there was a great party atmosphere - but you didn't have to join in. All in all a successful trip.

Lovely boat trip to Parga. The coastline of Corfu is beautiful to see. Parga is a beautiful town with friendly inhabitants. Because it was the end of the season, the castle and various shops were already closed, but there was still plenty to see and do. Then we sailed to the blue lagoon an hour away. We had a lovely swim among the fish. Afterwards a BBQ and Greek dancing on board. We enjoyed it!

Great day with beautiful sunshine, for us and our little boy aged 4! Explanations are given throughout the day on the different discoveries. Taking the cruise at the end of October is a luxury with an unfilled boat, it is very appreciable! No regrets for us!!

I really liked the professionalism of the guides, the fact that we were introduced to the historical sights. Parga was extraordinary and so was the party at the end 😃
