The tour started collecting guests at 8.00, early if you are on holiday. There were only 7 people on our day. Our guide for the trip was Lisa. We found her very knowledgeable and she enjoyed sharing it with us. Our first stop was by the town hall where we were given a brief introduction to Pathos, its modern history and culture. After a short drive on the minibus we arrived at the harbour and took a short walk to the Archaeological Park. We saw the mosaics dating from around the 2nd century. Again Lisa's knowledge showed. She talked us through many of the mosaics pointing out things that we otherwise would have missed. We then traveled to the Tomb of Kings. Lisa got us inside swiftly and we proceeded to the main tombs. Lisa's explanation of the site was easy to follow and by the end of her talk our group had tripled in size!! Our last stop was the market. We had time to ourselves to explore this area filled with local handmade items. We enjoyed the tour especially the knowledge

We then visit the legendary tombs of kings, the house of Dionysos with its amazingly well-preserved mosaics and the castle of Paphos.
