Founded in 1789, this garden spans 10 hectares and is home to approximately 12,000 plant species. Wander through living collections of Mediterranean, tropical, and subtropical plants, all thriving in Palermo's favorable climate. Begin your visit by exploring the garden's extensive collections, including succulents, palms, and cycads. Marvel at the extraordinary size of some specimens and the variety of exotic plants. As you stroll through the garden, enjoy the statues, bas-reliefs, and other artistic features that enhance the natural beauty of the space. I spent the whole day travelling around with friends on the Hop on Hop off Bus. The stations are so central that you don't need a taxi or any other means of transport. I would do it again. It's particularly great that if you keep the ticket you get discounts on other tours. We also saw a lot and the audio guide was very informative.

I took over 3 hours for the 2 interesting tours through Palermo. The ticket was valid for 24 hours. Great weather in January 25, few other passengers, informative explanations, it was fun.
