Our excursion was perfect for us to learn about the history and nature of Paphos. We loved the drive by the skilled coach driver to the high points of the Troodos mountain and were well prepared for the snow and cold climate when we got there! We really enjoyed meeting local people in their beautiful villages and church and eating their local produce for our lunch. The winery visit was good fun and we learnt about the local drinks available. The Millomeris waterfall was mesmerising. Our guide, Shierlyn, was very knowledgeable about every aspect of the trip and she went out of her way to ensure that all of our needs were met. I would definitely recommend this excursion. It was very enjoyable and good value. Thank you.

Full description

This tour takes you to the stunning Troodos Mountains, which is the highest mountain range in Cyprus. You'll get to enjoy the fresh mountain air and take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. The Venetian Bridge is an ancient stone bridge located near the village of Tzelefos. The bridge was built in the 16th century during the Venetian period and is a testament to the island's rich history. It is a popular spot for taking photos and enjoying the peaceful sounds of the river flowing beneath it.

On our way we will visit nice local winery, where you can taste different wines, famous Zivania and Cammandaria.

Visiting Northwest observation view point give you opportunity to enjoy the majestic views of the Troodos slopes, all the way to the bay of Morphou.

The tour also takes you to the Milomeris Waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Cyprus. The waterfall is located in a lush green valley and is surrounded by tall trees and colorful wildflowers. You can take a refreshing dip in the natural pool beneath the waterfall or simply relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.

The final highlight of our tour is Omodos village. This is a mountain village that exudes peace and tranquility. Omodos is famous for its wine-making and fruit orchards. The pride and adornment of the village of Omodos is the Monastery of the Holy Life-Giving Cross. This one of the oldest monasteries on Cyprus, which has great cultural and historical value.

Very enjoyable lots of information from your guide. Air conditioned bus. Says to pack swimwear and we did but there was no opportunity for swimming which was disappointing.
