Stockholm: Archipelago Sailing Adventure with Island Chill

Stockholm: Archipelago Sailing Adventure with Island Chill

Meet your guide at our 'Urban Basecamp', located centrally in Stockholm. Sailing is a great way of seeing beautiful places where you can’t come otherwise, and Stockholm happens to have the perfect environment to do so. Embark on your sailing boat (usually a Scampi 30 or Compis 28) and get ready to navigate through the Stockholm archipelago. The journey starts in Nynäshamn, a lively harbour located 45 minutes drive away from central Stockholm. Sail off and learn how to sail with an experienced skipper. The archipelago is inhabited by many species. Encounter bird life such as white-tailed eagles, swans, cormorants, and much more. Sometimes, grey seals can also be seen. Admire the view and enjoy boosting forward by nothing but wind power and experience life on a sailing vessel. After a while, stop on one of the many islands, Nåttarö, Läcka, Utö, Ornö, Stora Rammklöv, we will let the wind decide. Allow yourself to relax during a well-appreciated lunch break in a sheltered bay, take a swim in the Baltic Sea or laze away in the sun. Discover the treasures of the islands and the beautiful views. Then hop on the boat again and keep on the sailing adventure going.

I joined the evening cruise which was magical. It was my first time sailing on such a big ship so I was worried I would not find my place but the crew was very inclusive and welcoming. I helped a little with the sails, quite a workout, before having dinner (I was served a vegan one; super tasty!). Not cheap but worth every penny!

I think someone can already prepare the boat and meals before arriving at the port. When people arrive, they can upload them directly and save a lot of time!

Amazing, serene, and peaceful. Got to steer the boat a bit, lovely lunch provided. Guide Sofia was excellent. Couldn't have asked for more.

It was an unforgettable, adventurous day with nice people, good food, beautiful nature, and a stiff breeze in the sails. 😊
