Amazing! Driver (Giovani) was on time and his driving was exceptional. The tour of Pompeii was amazing and Francesca our guide was knowledgeable and made the trip interesting and engaging with plenty of facts. The trip to Vesuvius was fantastic.. tested my fitness but got to the top and the views and crater were incredible.. cannot recommend this tour/company highly enough. We had a great time! Pompeii is definitely the highlight of the trip but we couldn’t pass up an opportunity to see a volcano. If you get car sick easily, I recommend bringing some meds. It’s a lot of switchbacks from Pasitano to the top of Vesuvius. Our driver was kind and safe and our tour guide was very knowledgeable on Pompeii!

Visit the archaeological site of Pompeii and find out what life was like before the catastrophic eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD with skip-the-line tickets and travel to the top of the volcano with this small group tour from Positano.

Drive up to Mt. Vesuvius and enjoy breathtaking views of the Gulf of Naples. Start from the square at am altitude 1000 meters above sea level. Continue walking along the path known as the the Grand Cone which leads to the crater.

This tour was great in spite of the fact that our day started with some disappointment , since due to the bad weather we couldn’t get up on Mount Vesuvius. Luckily , our Pompeii tour was a wonderful compensation. Francesco , our guide, was more than excellent! Not only that he told us many historical and geological facts in a vivid way, but through his eyes we could really see and understand the life in Pompeii before the eruption. I think that this tour is a must! I also want to mention Carmine, our very skilled and very nice driver.
