Great trip with Alessia and our driver. Good amount of time up Vesuvius. Good amount of time in Pompeii. Good additional guide who did tour of Pompeii. Comfortable, large-sozed minibus bit not nearly as big as a coach, so didn't feel were on a huge tour coach. Driver smooth on the roads and very safe. Pizza lunch a bit basic but did the job and what do you expect when catering for lots of folks in a small amount of time, it was fine and loos were clean. Fin limoncello tasting with no pressure to buy. Thanks guys, nice trip covering two big things of interest in just one day without it feeling rushed. Well done 👍

Full description

The Tour starts at the entrance of the Starhotels Terminus, in Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi 91 where you will meet your Tour leader

You will first climb up to a height of 1000 meters to admire the grandeur of the Vesuvius crater and a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Naples. Upon reaching the crater, a local guide will provide you with some tips about the history of the volcano.

At the end of this walk, you will have a break for lunch and then you will reach Pompeii: here you will experience the ancient local lifestyle and follow the pathways of the archeological site.
You will take a leap into history and explore the city, buried in 79 AD by the eruption of the Vesuvius: a local guide will take you through the history of the ancient city including baths, bakeries, theaters, fresco paintings, and mosaics

At the end of the visit, you will come back to Naples at the same meeting point

The guide on the bus and the bus driver were fantastic! They communicated really well and made everything very clear, including meeting places and times. Mt Vesuvius was impressive, and what’s just the perfect amount of time to explore. The pizza lunch was great as well. Enzo was our guide for Pompei, and although our group was pretty large, he did a fantastic job keeping track of us all and his enthusiasm was amazing! Very knowledgeable. Highly recommend this tour!
