A great day! Our tour guide Luigi was fantastic, very knowledgeable and gave us so many interesting facts about Pompeii whilst we visited the ruins. Our day guide was Angie and she was very friendly and funny, she made sure we were where we needed to be at the right times! and our driver was Jacomo who expertly drove a large coach round the tightest of corners round Mount Vesuvius, well done! The day was well run, well planned and we thought it was great to be picked up early as Pompeii was so much quieter in the early morning when it just opened. Bring snacks and water, and wear comfortable shoes. Mount Vesuvius is a steep climb but worth it for the view. We ate at the restaurant for lunch but a la carte instead of the set menu, the food was great and reasonably priced (we expected it to be expensive but it wasn't). Overall would highly recommend this trip!
Everything was outstanding, Mimi was an excellent guide, as was our guide in Pompeii!
