Trekking Mount Rinjani summit via Sembalun village 2 days 1 night start on 1.156 m above sea level to crater rim Sembalun on 2.639m and camp night here, early morning next day start climb to Summit 3.726m and return to crater rim and Sembalun village. We register at the Rinjani Information Centre in Sembalun (1,156 m) before commencing our trek. The trail initially passes through undulating open grasslands as it winds up the mountain. We stop at Pos 1 and Pos 2, pausing for rest breaks and snacks. At Pos 3 (1,800 m) we stop for a longer break for lunch. After lunch we commence the steep climb up the crater rim. We camp the night at Sembalun Crater Rim (2,639 m) with amazing views of the sunset, Lake Segara Anak, the summit of Mount Rinjani and Northern Lombok. Trekking Mount Rinjani Summit 2 days itinerary : Trekking Mount Rinjani Summit 2 days itinerary : Day 2: We wake at 3am for a light breakfast before commencing the challenging three hour trek to the summit (3,726 m). We arrive in time for sunrise, the best time to enjoy the spectacular views. Returning to our campsite on the crater rim we stop for a hot breakfast and a rest before commencing our return trek to Sembalun. We pause for lunch at Pos 2 or 3 and arrive in Sembalun in the early afternoon,

Day 1 Get picked up from your hotel in Senaru or Sembalun and have some breakfast before driving about an hour to Semablun Village. Once you arrive, register at Rinjani Information Center (RIC) and start your 2-hour trek to POS-1 (1,300 meters). Take a rest for 5-10 minutes, then continue walking to POS-2 (1,500 m) for about an hour. Take another short break, then continue trekking to POS-3 (1,800 meters) for another hour. We rest for 2 hours at POS-3 and have lunch with a hot drink such as tea, coffee, hot chocolate, or lemon tea. After lunch and a rest, continue trekking to Sembalun Crater Rim (2,639 meters) for about 3 hours. Spend the night on the Sembalun Crater Rim. Enjoy stunning panoramic views of the sunset, Segara Anak lake, and most of North Lombok Island. Day 2 We will wake up at 1:30 in the morning with coffee or tea and a light breakfast. After you have eaten, we will begin the trek to the summit for sunrise. Normally, the trek to the summit takes around 3 hours, depending on how fast we go. We will be trekking in the dark, so it’s important to have a flashlight for this section. The trek to the summit has many sections that are sand and gravel and some of the most tiring of the trek but our guides will be with you the whole way to help you. During this time, you will be rewarded with a beautiful panoramic view of Bali, Sumbawa, and all of Lombok and the Gilis. Once we’ve reached the summit of Mt.Rinjani at 3,726 meters, we will take time for a short break and photos. Upon returning to the crater rim campsite after the summit our porters will have breakfast prepared and waiting for you. After breakfast, we will begin the journey back down to Sembalun Village.

Cakrawala Rinjani is a Trek organization based in Senaru Village, the 3 Day 2 Night climbing program is designed for experienced climbers who have strong energy to be able to conquer the 3 Day travel route with full travel starting from Sembalun Village and returning via the Senaru route, the 3 Day trip will give you the best experience and adventure. Mount Rinjani has a height of 3,726 m, No. 2 highest volcano in Indonesia. Mount Rinjani is the most beautiful mountain with panoramic views from many amazing viewpoints and a very beautiful expanse of savanna DAY 1 : Wake up at 6:00 and get breakfast. After that, drive to the village of Sembalun (1100 m) and register at the Rinjani information center. Start trekking from the village of Sembalun around 8:00 am. Start with a gentle climb through open meadow. After about 2 hours of walking, reach the post 1 (1300m), and another 40 minutes to Pos 2 (1500m). Continue to Pos 3 (1800m) and have lunch here. After lunch and rest, go to Sembalun crater rim (2639m). It takes 3 hours including a prolonged steep climb. Camp the night on the crater rim. Enjoy the view of the sunset. Day 2: Wake up around 2:00 am under the cover of darkness with a hot drink and a light breakfast. Start heading to the summit of Rinjani at 3:00 am. Start with a moderate trek, followed by a fairly easy but longer trek. Final approach that involves climbing up steep volcanic scree looser. At 6:00 am, reach the summit (3726 m) with a beautiful sunrise, and panoramic view of Lombok island, the island of Bali, the island of Sumbawa, and Segara Anak Lake. After that, descend into the crater rim Sembalun within 2 hours and have breakfast here. Then continue to descend to Segara Anak Lake for 3 hours. Stop at the side of the lake to rest. Here, enjoy the view of the lake, and swimming in the lake. Bath in hot water can soothe away your aches and pains of traveling and is widely known for its natural healing powers. Porters will prepare lunch. After the lunch, leave the lake and up to Senaru crater rim (2641m). The campsite for the night, Senaru crater rim has the most spectacular view. Enjoy an incredible sunset over Mount Agung in Bali and the smoke from the new volcano on the edge of the lake. Day 3: After breakfast with a beautiful sunrise, leave Mount Rinjani and descend to Senaru village through the rainforest. If you are lucky, you can see the rare black monkey. It takes 5 hours and take lunch along the way. Arrive at Senaru village (601 m) where the car will take you to your next destination.

Day 1 After breakfast, you will be transferred to Rinjani National Gate for registration and briefing with your guide. Your trek will begin at 7:00 -7:30 AM where you will walk through dense tropical forest rich in flora, bird life and butterflies. Make your lunch stop at Montong Satas Shelter at 1,500 meters above sea level before continuing your adventure to the rim. You will reach the crater rim (2,641 meters) at 4:00 PM where you will camp for the night. Enjoy the spectacular sunset view over Mount Agung in Bali and the smoke from the volcano on the edge of the lake. Your guide will provide you with dinner. Day 2 After breakfast with a beautiful sunrise, you will leave Mount Rinjani and start to descend back to Senaru Village through the rainforest. If you are lucky, you will see the rare black monkey along the way. The total descend will take about five hours and you will stop at 11:30 AM for lunch. Upon your arrival at Senaru Village, you will be taken to the local operator's office to take shower, enjoy welcome drink and finally the trip is finished .

There are two common hiking routes up the mountain, which you will need to choose between.  Mount Agung Hike via Besakih Temple (from the West) The most challenging yet rewarding route for hiking up Mount Agung. The hike starts near the Besakih Temple, also called the Mother Temple of Bali. You'll be hiking through the dense jungle of Besakih. The ascent will take approximatively 6 to 7 hours, and ends at the very highest point of the mountain. The final hour or so is exceptionally demanding, often requiring climbing up the mountain on all fours. The hike starts at about 11.00 PM, so that you arrive at the top before dawn. From here, you are able to witness the stunning sunrise overlooking Mount Rinjani in Lombok. You will also have a masjestic view of the giant crater of Caldera Batur, and Lake Batur. Mount Agung Hike via Pasar Agung Temple (from the South) This is an easier, 3-4 hour hike in which you will ascend about 2,000 meters. It's not as challenging as the Besakih Temple route. The hike ends about 100 meters below the actual summit, but the views are still excellent in all directions, as well as down into the crater. The starting time will be about 2:00 AM, with the aim of reaching the peak just before dawn.

Day 1 After breakfast, you will be transferred !! Be ready to go to Sembalun village with our special mountain car. The trip to Sembalun village will spend 45minutes to hour. We will arrive at approximately 8.00 am. The registration in Rinjani Information Center (RIC) is 1051 m and Post 1 (Monitoring Post) is1300 m which will take 2 hours. We take a rest for 5/10 minutes at Post 1 (Monitoring Post,) and then continue to Post 2 (Tengengean) 1500 m for about 1 hour. We take short break for 5 to 10 minutes at Post 2 ( Tengengean ) and then continue our journey to Post 3 (Pada Balong ) 1800 m for approximately 1 hour. We take a rest for 2 hours at Post 3, the guide and porters then prepare for lunch, and a hot drink (tea, coffee, hot chocolate or lemon tea). After having a lunch and rest, we continue to Sembalun Crater Rim (Pelawangan Sembalun) 2639M, for 3 hours including a prolonged steep climb. Spending the night by camping at Sembalun Crater Rim, then we can enjoy the awesome views there as sunset, and sunrise for the next morning , Segara Anak lake, Sembalun village, the summit of mount Rinjani half of north Lombok. Day 2 We will wake up at 02.30 am if we don’t miss the beautiful sunrise and have a light breakfast. Start the trek to heading to the Rinjani summit (3672 m) at 3.00 am for approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes. The first stage is a moderate climb for 2 hours, while the second stage is a fairly easy but long trek. The last hour is very steep and difficult (there are many loose stones, and as you take two steps forward, you will slip one step back). From the Summit of Mount Rinjani, you can see all of Lombok island, Bali, Mt. Tambora in Sumbawa and Segara Anak Lake. After sunrise we will go down to the Sembalun Crater Rim and have breakfast. After breakfast and a rest, we will continue to go down to Sembalun village for 4-5 hours, have some lunch in Post 3 or 2 and arrive in Sembalun village (1,150m) at noon. The car is waiting to bring us to Senaru village, the trip is finished
