Accompanied by a sip of coffee and Pisang goreng (fried banana) to warm the night while waiting for the sun to emerge from its hideout. Driving down the hill, you will pass the vast sea of sand, resulting from the eruption of Mount Bromo, in a 45 minute-easy track all the way to the peak. From the crater rim, you can see the active Bromo crater, caldera and the mountainous views of Mount Batok and the highest mountain on Java Island, Mount Semeru. Also, you can find the Hindu temple reflecting the Majapahit Kingdom's history.
