What people are saying about Mount Olympus
Overall rating
Brilliant day trip, packing in a variety of activities. Evaggelia was a fantastic guide, super friendly and with gave lots of nice facts and info during the trip. The waterfall trail to the Agia Kori chapel was beautiful and getting to swim in the pool was a (very cold) bonus! Dion had a lot of interesting archaeology and ruins to look at, in a beautiful setting, although we had to go quite quickly with the time we had available. Lunch in Litichoro was delicious and gave another great chance to look at the mountain. Definitely check out the bakery on the square for sweet treats and ice cream sandwiches! Overall an excellent trip!
The Activities were really good, excellent guidance from our instructors, it felt very professional. The setting is immense, beautiful, back to nature, there is no fuss, no sales pitch just full on fun. Minor negative is that we would have like the experience to last for longer, this is because it is such an excellent adventure. I would definitely recommend to anyone that hasn't done this type of activity before...
The trip was well organized and started on time. I thought the guide (Thanasis) was very good; I felt well looked after and safe at all times. The climb between Skala and Mytikas took a long time because we often had to wait for one member of our three-person rope team. In addition, the weather was not ideal (some rain and hail). Nevertheless, everyone made it to the summit.
The tour guide who accompanied us on a beautiful trekking tour from the stunning waterfall to the little church was excellent, telling us interesting anecdotes along the way.
This trip was fantastic! Our guide was so knowledgeable and friendly.
