This was an amazing day- the highlight of our trip. I never would have found this or thought to coordinate the transportation without this package: I highly recommend it. There isn’t really a guide though- it’s mainly just the transportation from Geneva (at the bus station, go across the street into the travel agency/cafe to meet your right group and bus). The bus takes you an hour into France. Once there, the group will go on their tour and the guide will point you towards the ski rental and tell you to catch the city shuttle to the mountain (not a lot of guidance but adequate). The use of the ski clothes was excellent- bring goggles and gloves and wear sunblock. We came back an hour early and were able to return our rental equipment and still see a bit of the town- which is charming.

Full description

Enjoy the slopes with enviable views on the Mont Blanc! As well as offering a hugely diverse and amazing range of skiing and boarding, on and off piste, Chamonix is a fabulous destination.

The valley floor is low and the ski areas, of which there are 6 separate ones in the Valley, start at approx 2000 meters with lifts reaching over 3000 meters. From stunning glacial peaks, to gentle rolling slopes, each ski area has something different to offer all levels. There are 3 dedicated beginner slopes, Le Tour has the largest beginner's area, perfect for first timers.

There is a vast array of intermediate levels, challenging and difficult runs throughout the whole valley. And for the advanced, slopes on the Grand Montets is the favorite to many locals, due to the sheer steepness and difficulty.

We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and it was definitely worth the money! The bus pickup location was easy to find, ski hire was super easy, you got a decent amount of time to ski + explore the mountain ranges/runs and we even got little bit of time in Chamonix to explore the town. The only negative piece of feedback was the initial getting on the bus, when you arrive at the bus location there is multiple trips running at once so it’s a bit chaotic trying to find which one you’re on. Maybe because it was so early in the morning the guides / drivers we were a little bit blasé so it created a bit of unnecessary stress trying to figure out if you’re in the right place. Some appropriate signage would be better next to the bus parking bays would be great so you know which one to get on.
