Things to do in Mokra Gora

I had the pleasure of joining a day tour to Mokra Gora, Drina River House, and the Šargan Eight — and it turned out to be one of the most memorable parts of my Balkan trip, thanks to our amazing guide, Alex. Alex is incredibly knowledgeable, especially when it comes to Serbian history and culture. He shared fascinating stories at every stop that really brought the places to life. Beyond being well-informed, he’s also warm, cooperative, and genuinely passionate about ensuring everyone has a great time. The itinerary was perfectly paced, the landscapes were breathtaking, and Alex made sure we had enough time at each location while also keeping things organized.
