On the nature walk it was great to see the wild animals up close. The walk itself was shorter than expected but our guide, Lindsey, kept us entertained with lots of interesting details about the wildlife and the history and development of the Everglades National Park. The Airboat ride was great fun and enabled us to see the wilder side of the Everglades, a short stop of at the indian village of Mikkosukee gave us a good idea of how the Indians used to live. All in all a most entertaining half day excursion.

Join a naturalist guide on a walk in Everglades National Park and learn about the different ecosystems of the park. Walk through a tropical hardwood hammock to admire an abundance of wildlife and see rare plants.
Then, drive to the launch site of your 1-hour airboat ride, and glide through the grasses to see wild alligators up close in their natural environment.

Visit an historic Miccosukee Indian village, exclusive to the airboat company, and learn about their special customs and way of life. Head back to your hotel at the end of your exhilarating airboat tour, better acquainted with the real Florida.
