Nevado De Toluca: Reach the Summit with Professionals

What an awesome trip! I had a fantastic time hiking to the top of Nevado de Toluca. Carlos, the guide, was great company for the day and provided all the extras we needed for a successful trip - poles, food, helmets, and even a backpack if you needed it! Make sure you have acclimatised to the altitude in Mexico City before attempting this hike. There are some good steep sections when going up and down, sometimes you have to scramble over the rocks a bit, but Carlos is a great guide to show you where to go and help you out. Cannot recommend this trip enough!

Hiking Nevado de Toluca with Santiago and Giovanni was an exceptional experience. They were incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and prioritized safety, ensuring we had the best possible adventure. Everything was carefully planned, from logistics to pacing, making the hike both challenging and rewarding. The total hike was a little over 5 miles, and the full experience lasted about 10 hours from pick-up to drop-off. This is definitely an activity for those who regularly exercise, as the altitude and terrain make it physically demanding. One of the best parts was that all necessary gear was included, making the process seamless. Santiago and Giovanni’s expertise and passion for the outdoors truly elevated the experience. If you’re looking for an unforgettable adventure in Mexico, this is a must-do. Highly recommend!
