Full description

This adventure is filled with colors, aromas and flavors with a local guide showing you around the market. He loves sharing his love for Coyoacan and its cuisine, feel free to ask him whichever question you might have. After eating some quesadillas and walking around the local market, your guide will take you to Meztli Boutique House & Spa, here, the Chef of the House will be expecting you. The chef will make you fell at home and, quoting their words: "I want guests to feel as welcomed as I felt when I cooked with my grandmother". The vintage kitchen will transport you to a cozy moment where the chef's main objective is for you to have fun, feel free and comfortable while learning about the Mexican techniques, ingredients and recipes.

If you ask for the extra service of pickup, the itinerary starts with the chauffeur picking you up at the indicated address either at 9:30 or
at 14:00. From here you will be driven to Coyoacan’s Market, the meeting point with your guide. He will walk you towards the first stop, an authentic quesadilla stand; later on while buying some more ingredients for the cooking class, get enlightened with the Mexican history and culture. The adventure continues walking towards Meztli Casa Boutique & Spa and cooking in its vintage kitchen the menu is chosen by you from the options below: You will cook the menu you decide from the options below:

- Fried plantains

The last part of the experience takes place at the dining table, where everything will be set for you to enjoy the meal that you have prepared, this moment will be accompanied by conversations, chit-chat and emotions.

Lots of fun! Chef Manu put my wife and I to work (exactly what we wanted) and we made delicious sopes, horchata, chicken tinga amd dessert in a chefs kitchen. Not only did we learn new dishes but also some neat time saving techniques Definitely recommend this!
