Our family had a wonderful time! You really get to start from the basics of the bean and go all the way through the process of brewing process. Jim is super knowledgeable and has a great energy, including a super interesting focus on pre-Columbian ingredients.
We had a really wonderful experience today with Jim, he is very knowledgeable and engaging. During the class, you get to make a selection of hot chocolate beverages from scratch, roasting and grinding the cocoa, then grinding and adding different ingredients to try different flavours, and Jim encourages creativity in your combinations. He likes to use ingredients available to the traditional mayan and aztec cultures giving you the opportunity to try flavours you probably haven't before which is a nice touch. The course has a very homely and relaxed feel too it, both Jim and his assistant are very friendly. He also offers cooking classes to make mole and tamales which I'm sure is great. Would highly recommend, thank you for a great day.

- Wheelchair users have enjoyed the class before, but the building in which the class will take place does not have an elevator. Allergy sufferers should be aware that, although they’re kept out of the cooking area and I have allergy pills available for guests who need them, there are two cats in the house.
