We had such an amazing day on this tour guided by Marlon!! This tour is absolutely worth the time and money. We learned so much about the history of Guatape and El Peñón. We had the opportunity to climb El Peñón and the view was incredible. We also got to experience a boat ride that was informative and relaxing. The only suggestion we have is we wish we had more time in Guatape to explore! We got to spend about an hour walking around but it would’ve been nice to have at least 90-120 minutes to really enjoy the colourful town. Overall, it was a wonderful day and Marlon was a fantastic tour guide. He is warm, funny and his energy is contagious. We would absolutely recommend this tour to those interested in visiting Guatape and learning about the history of this colourful town!

Start your morning with pickup from your accommodation in Medellín and travel to the vibrant city of Guatapé. With your guide, explore the colorful streets with their artistic tiled facades and fascinating history.
Then, board a boat and sail through the reservoir. Enjoy panoramic views of Casa Museo, La Cruz, Piedras del Marial, Piedra del Peñol, and the ruins of the Pablo Escobar's vacation home. Learn about the sights from your guide.
