Our tour guide was fantastic—well-informed, knowledgeable about the tour, and provided warm hospitality. The breakfast was also great. However, the only downside was that when we made our reservation, we specified a pickup location, but the Polynesian tour company changed it to a spot 11 kilometers away from our hotel without prior agreement. As a result, my partner and I had to pay $100 for a taxi since Uber wasn’t available at 3:00 AM. If you’re booking a tour, be sure to confirm and request a more convenient pickup location to avoid unexpected costs.

The experience is humbling . Our guide Preston was FANTASTIC which made the experience even better . Make sure you dress warm , it’s cold up at altitude, don’t be fooled because your in Maui

Excellent. We were fortunate to have perfect viewing weather, but it was our guide, Preston, who made the trip extra special. He provided an excellent narrative on the way back with wonderful insight to Maui history, culture and ever changing landscape - physical, economic, etc. He was all pretty funny!
