It was an amazing experience! Hermes, Pete and Winnie were amazing tour guide and drivers. The coordination between different cars and guide was smooth. The hotel accommodation was very nice. We had plenty of time and the trip did not feel rush. Our first day was at rotorua where we saw the mud pool, thermal pool, the maori art school and kiwi conservation. We had a lunch buffet at the maori art cultural spot and it was very yummy. We also had a moari traditional buffet dinner and concert and that was fun to see and experience. The second day we had the hobbit, hobbit buffet lunch, saw an ostrich, saw the swinging bridge, and also went to waitmo cave to see glowworms before going back to auckland. Overall, a great tour and planning done!
We went to Hobbiton the Lord of the rings movie set. It was absolutely stunning and everything that we hoped it would be. We then went to Rototua to see the hot spring, and art institute. They were awesome to see and very interesting and educational. We then had a dinner buffet at the Maori village. Our guide gave us great information about the culture. The performance was fun to watch, and the food was delicious. The glow worms exhibition was so beautiful. We all loved going though the caves and learning about the glow worms. The boat ride under neath the glow worms was magical.
