From Marrakesh: Essaouira Full-Day Trip

That was a good day trip out from the very busy Marrakesh/Medinah. Good to see those important places where cinemas / films were made and acted. This is a good family day out too from Marrakesh. Rachid Haziran was a gentle man, and soft spoken. Highly recommend him. Thanks mate👍

We had an amazing day trip to Essaouira from Marrakech, and it was one of the highlights of our time in Morocco! Our tour guide, Oussama, was absolutely fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating throughout the entire day. The drive to Essaouira was comfortable, with a few scenic stops along the way, including an argan oil cooperative and those iconic goats in trees (a must-see!). Once we arrived in Essaouira, Oussama gave us great insights into the city’s history and culture while still giving us plenty of free time to explore the medina, walk along the beach, and enjoy a fresh seafood lunch by the port. Essaouira itself is beautiful—charming streets, laid-back vibes, and a refreshing breeze that was a nice contrast to Marrakech. It felt like the perfect day escape. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Oussama as your guide—he made the experience smooth, personal, and genuinely enjoyable.
