Hamid drove us to and fro to merzouga. He took care of all our needs and made sure we were comfortable at all times. The merzouga trip itself was fun! The music they played at the desert after dinner was especially memorable. Great trip all around!
It was amazing! For the price we paid, we expected wayyyyy less than what we got. The amount of excursions we went on, the length of them, and the quality of them was excellent. The camp in the desert was so much more than I thought too. The beds were big and clean. The meals they provided were also great and we didn’t experience problems. Making the 9 hour trek there and back wasn’t as bad as I expected as well and I HATE road trips. The driver let us aux and it was a blast. The group we traveled with also made the trip so special as I got to know most of them! You also end up traveling with other tour groups too so you never feel unsafe. The only caveat is that throughout the tour they take you touristy spots and push to sell things to you, but this was to be expected. It did not take away from all the amazing things the tour provided. I am currently studying abroad study so I’ve been on quite a few trips this semester and I have to say this is a top tier trip for me

Day 1Marrakech - Tinghir
Travel through the High Atlas Mountains
Departure from Marrakech to Ait Benhaddou
Your shared 3-day desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga will start early in the morning. Head to Ait Benhaddou through the Tizi Ntichka pass and the high Atlas Mountains. Make many stops along the way. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, which also served as a set for various Hollywood blockbusters.
Travel through the High Atlas Mountains
Continue your journey to Ouarzazate and its film studios, and further to Kasbah Taourirte before stopping for lunch at a local café.
Overnight stay in Tinghir
In the afternoon, drive to Tinghir via the Valley of the Roses before you reach your hotel located in Tinghir. Enjoy the dinner and relax after a long day of sightseeing and travelling.

Day 3Merzouga - Marrakech
