Margaret River: Lake Cave Fully-Guided Tour

Lake Cave, a stunning and perfectly-preserved chamber deep beneath the earth, is a must-see for all visitors to Margaret River. Descend a long staircase through a spectacular sinkhole to the floor of the sunken forest, gazing up at the towering karri trees along the way. Inside the cave, a tranquil lake reflects delicate crystal formations growing from the cave's ceiling. Droplets hang from the tips of straws and stalactites before falling to the floor or into the lake, creating ripples in the water. Marvel at the unique suspended table formation, which weighs several tons and seems to defy gravity as it hovers above the clear lake water. As your guide changes the focus of the light to different features within the cave, incredible views and silhouettes appear etched in the darkness.

Was a great tour with very informed and helpful guides. The only thing for us was we were not aware that the 2 wine tastings would take up so much of our tour as we are not really wine drinkers however the venues and the merchants were very nice and gave great service and for wine drinkers excellent attention and value for money. We recommend this tour as it’s quite broad, very informative and done in a relaxing and enjoyable way at a very fair price. Thankyou for a lovely afternoon!

Great day. Fran our guide was absolutely awesome. She went above and beyond and even made a booking for us in town for dinner with her great recommendation. Highlight was swings and roundabouts and the food was 10/10. Winery’s were great too.
