We had a wonderful and exciting trip with our guide Minnie. Minnie is very knowledgeable and explained a lot about the culture and environment. Although we had additional local guides at some points, she was present throughout the trip. After pickup, we started at the Madakaripura Waterfall. It is quite a journey to see the waterfall. We left the car at a parking lot and had to take a motorbike from there (we could have walked but the waterfall is still quite far from there) and then hiked to the waterfall for 20-30 minutes. The hike is a bit difficult but doable, you will be crossing streams on rocks at several occasions, so I can only recommend to bring waterproof sandals as you will get wet. In my opinion, seeing the waterfalls is really worth the hike though. After that we went to see Mt. Bromo. The landscape around the volcano is truly beautiful and definitely worth seeing.

Really enjoyable trip! Layla who was our guide was really enthusiastic and friendly. Both Bromo and the waterfalls were a great experience and well managed. The pick up and drop off were super easy, this is great value for money for a private tour. P.s sunglasses, a mask (for Bromo dust), flip flops and a waterproof are essential (there are also options to buy sandals and poncho at waterfall).
