Absolutely one of the best trips we’ve been on! I mean the views were just incredible, the guides were very helpful and kind, and the entire experience was amazing. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to see the beauty of Mount Bromo and Ijen in only 2 days.
This trip was fantastic! Collected in the morning. They do pick you up earlier so you get a good place for parking due to the traffic on Mount bromo. You get a free snack and drink while you wait. Lots of time to watch the sunrise and then you head down to the crater to walk around. You then get to the meeting point where you share a minibus to the next destination. You get some water and breakfast snacks here. The minibus didn’t have the best aircon and you do drive for 6 hours. This is the only difficult part of the whole tour. You will stop off for breaks and toilet stops. You will arrive in the evening around 5pm at the hostel/hotel. We were a couple and we got a private room. The place was really nice and we enjoyed the stay! The next morning one last early morning to see Ijen, you will get time at a cafe place before the hike. Once you get back to the accomodation you will get breakfast and time to shower before being dropped off at the ferry with tickets to Bali included! :)

Full description
Start from Malang after midnight 00.30 am use the jeep 4x4 to the most famous viewpoint/Sunrise point on Mount Bromo area. From that location we can see the best sunrise in East Java with mountains and volcanoes as a background. Afterward, the jeep will continue your adventure holiday to reach the sea of sands in Mount Bromo area.
We will stop at the parking area then you will cross the sea of sands by riding a horse or on foot (it is optional) till reaching the stairs at the slope of Mount Bromo which will lead you to reach the peak of Mt. Bromo. After enjoying the volcanic activity on the top of Mount Bromo, you have to go back to your jeep then We go to Cemorolawang and change the vehicle to Banyuwangi. While waiting for the vehicle to leave, you can have breakfast at a local restaurant.
The trip to the Banyuwangi hostel takes around 7-9 hours. You will arrive at the hostel around 5.30 - 8pm, check in and free program.
Depart for Ijen at 0.30 - 01 am, accompanied by your guide you will be going to blue fire spot, then enjoy sunrise and the enchanting panoramic view of the Ijen Crater. 8am return to the hostel, have breakfast, shower and we will take you to Banyuwangi. If you will continue to Bali, we will take you to Ketapang port. Arrive Ketapang port about 10.30 am.
