Full description

After meeting by the steps of the protestant Temple of the Change you will start with some savoury food of the type that was served to the Canut (the silk workers of Lyon) giving energy and of course a glass of wine.

Then we will be exploring the old paved streets of the Vieux Lyon area, learning the secret of the Traboules, and we'll stop in one of the most exclusive sweet shops of the city to sample a delicious local pastry.

After crossing the Saône River, we'll then explore the Presqu'île district, discovering amazing monuments, statues, and fountains along the way.

You'll love the seasonal traditional hot dish at our next stop.
We'll discover our local cheeses as we stop at a historic monument.

As with all our tours, there's our delicious Secret Dish.

Meeting point Monday-Saturday: the tour departs from the Vieux Lyon area, in front of the Temple, Place du Change, 69005 Lyon. If coming by subway, exit at Vieux Lyon on line D, pass in front of Cathedral Saint-Jean, and walk to the end of Saint-Jean Street. Your guide will be holding an orange umbrella. Meeting point on Sundays: the tour begins in front of the Carousel, Place Antonin Jutard, 69003 Lyon. If coming by subway, exit at Guillotière on Line D, towards the Rhône River. Your guide will be waiting for you with an orange umbrella in front of the Carousel.

Sin our guide was incredible. She had an in depth historical knowledge and was cheerful and kept the groups spirits up with her wit. I enjoyed all the food but I do believe they can change the last restaurant to a better one.
