Full description

Start with a convenient pickup from your hotel or Nile cruise and travel in a private air-conditioned vehicle to the West Bank.

Your first stop is Medinat Habu, an archaeological marvel near the Theban Hills. This site is famous for the impressive Mortuary Temple of Ramesses III, stretching 150 meters and showcasing a traditional architectural style reminiscent of the Ramesseum.

Next, visit Deir el-Medina, also known as the Valley of the Workers, where artisans who built the tombs in the Valley of the Kings once lived. The site features ancient frescoes that remain remarkably well-preserved.

Conclude your tour at the renowned Valley of the Queens, the resting place of pharaohs' wives and royal children. Known in ancient times as Ta-Set-Neferu, this valley holds the tombs of queens and royal family members from the 18th to 20th dynasties.

After your enriching experience, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel or Nile cruise in Luxor.

Maria, the Italian guide, was very kind and friendly, she described in detail Medinat Habu, Deir-el-Medina and the Valley of the Queens. We will return to see the tomb of Nefertari, currently closed for restoration.

Valley of the Queens not very interesting but incredible Habu temple. Valley of the artisans nice. The guide was much more motivated that day and gave us a lot of explanations. On the other hand the visit only lasts 4 hours and not 7 hours. But I don't see how it could last longer ...
