Ken is a very knowledgeable guide, a lot of fun and clearly passionate about sharing his knowledge of Luxembourg. Like any good guide, he was flexible and allowed us to chose a tour of the tour the Victor Hugo House in Vianden when the weather made the Chairlift Ride an iffy prospect. A wine tasting on the Moselle provided a perfect end to a lovely day. This tour is highly recommended.

It was amazing. Ken is very knowledgable and passionate about Luxemburg. Hearing history from him made our trip so enjoyable and meaningful. We loved all the locations we visited and appreciated the bonus tour at the winery. The small group was very nice as we were able to connect with fellow travelers better than a large group and hear all Ken was sharing with us. It was very nice to travel by van and the driver was equally amazing. Would absolutely recommend this!

Full description

Discover the most significant sights of Luxembourg country with a local guide on this round-trip tour from Luxembourg. Take in the passing scenery on a van ride and enjoy the landscape! 


After the pick-up by an air-conditioned vehicle from Luxembourg, you will arrive in Vianden to explore the town with your guide. Spot iconic sights including Vianden Castle and see the town from up high on the Vianden Chairlift. 


Afterwards the tour will cross the Luxembourg « Little Switzerland » to stop at the « Schiessentümpel » waterfall. After some pictures the trip will continue to Echternach where you will visit the basilica and the old town. On the way back to Luxembourg City, the tour will pass through the famous Moselle valley where you will have beautiful views on the vineyards of the Luxembourg and German Moselle.

After the visit of a winery and a wine tasting, the driver will drive you back to your hotel.

The castle was excellent as was the presentation at the wine tasting. The other "highlights" did not really live up to the expectations from the title of the tour. Very happy with the knowledge and attitude of the tour guide.
