Venture out from the hustle of San Juan to El Yunque Rainforest and explore a more tranquil side of Puerto Rico on this day trip. After pickup, take a scenic drive through the El Yunque National Park. Climbing in elevation, enjoy views of the mountain peak above and the ocean below. En route to a private access point on Rio Pitahaya, pass Rio Mameyes, Puente Roto, and the Angelito Trail Head. Upon arrival at Las Paylas, be introduced to a natural playground with a hidden waterfall, cave, 2 waterslides, and a natural pool. Next, wind down at Luquillo Beach and Los Kioskos. Soak in the local culture with 2 hours of free time to grab a drink or bite, go souvenir shopping, or relax on the beach at this oceanside hangout 50 feet off the shore is Los Kioskos, a strip of around 50 bars, restaurants, and shops.

Go swimming in the Luquillo River and, equipped with life vests and helmets, feel the thrill of going down the natural rock water slides of Las Paylas. Have a 30-minute Flyboard experience off the coast of Luquillo Beach. The Flyboard is a board, much like a snowboard or a wakeboard, connected to a jet ski by a long hose. The rider (flyer) is strapped into boots attached to the Flyboard and is lifted out of the water by water jets on the bottom of the board.   Once you arrive at the beach, you’ll be welcomed and given clear instructions on how to control the board. Head out onto the water and you’ll be coached until you can control the board yourself. While you're up in the air, you can take in beautiful views of the ocean and the bay and fly like Iron Man over the waters on this futuristic, almost-unbelievable board.

Enjoy a hike full of nature, waterfalls and breathtaking views through the El Yunque National Rainforest, with plenty of opportunities for swimming. First, head to La Coca Falls. Watch as water cascades into the 26-meter drop below and admire an impressive rock formation at the bottom of the falls which would make the perfect screensaver. Next, climb to the top of the Yokahú Observation Tower to admire panoramic views of the rainforest canopy and surrounding area. Your final stop is Puento Roto, the most popular water play area in the park. After the rainforest, board the bus again and travel to Luquillo Beach and Kiosks, where you'll stay for two hours where you can buy something to eat or relax on the beach before returning. Wrap up the day by returning to your original pickup location.

Next, stop at the La Coca Waterfall for pictures. Then, cool off with a swim in one of the natural pools on Mameyes River (subject to weather conditions) after a short natural walk of 15 minutes. NOTE: In efforts to complete La Coca Entrance station, a paving phase will begin at the site this upcoming Monday, February 24, 2025, that will require full closure of the parking for the remaining portion of the project. Tour operators won't be able to stop in La Coca Falls until construction is done (expected 2 months). You can take pictures from the bus in addition and due to this reason, we added up a new stop in our tour, Bano Grande (scenic area). After 2 hours in the rainforest, we will drive down to Luquillo Beach and kiosk area. Have the chance to swim at the beach and get some local food and drinks.
