In addition to Bonita, La Palma is also known for its lush natural heritage, such as Isla Verde. You will discover the beauty of its landscapes, with changing vegetation due to the multiple microclimates of the area, imposing ravines and picturesque villages full of tradition. You will visit the Mirador de la Montaña to enjoy an unrivalled panoramic view of mountains covered by a blanket of green, a rugged coastline full of cliffs and an original sculpture that recalls the local legend of the Salto del Enamorado (Falling in Love). After an amazing transfer by 4×4 on tracks in poor condition, we arrive at the Casa del Monte, 4265 feet (1,300 meters) above the sea. From here, with helmets and torches, we discover a spectacular environment full of lush vegetation along the old canal. You will walk along one of the most special paths on the island (PR-LP 6), which crosses thirteen narrow tunnels until it reaches the Marcos and Cordero springs. But first, you have to cross the water tunnel, where no one escapes a refreshing shower. Please note that this hike is unsuitable for everyone as there is a large negative slope, so good physical condition is very important.
