We had a lovely trip with our guide Roc. Roc was knowledgable and very friendly. There was only three of us so it felt like a private tour! Piran is beautiful, we could’ve had a bit more time exploring but other than that it was a worthwhile tour and definitely worth a visit.

Full description

Join a group guided tour to take in the sites of the Venetian city of Piran. Admire the sunset as you stroll around this coastal city.

Meet your guide in your hotel lobby and climb aboard your ride as the afternoon heat drops. Pass through varied landscapes until you reach the sparkling Adriatic Sea and the coastal town of Piran. Enjoy a guided tour of the former Venetian customs port. Learn about its history and how its sea salt made the Republic of Venice rich. Admire the stunning architecture, including Venetian palaces built in Gothic or Renaissance styles.

Take a walk along the promenade, where you can try one of the seafront restaurants. Sample the delicious coffee or ice cream on Tartini Square. Explore the romantic narrow streets and watch the sunset in your partner’s arms. See the sun glinting off the Adriatic Sea before disappearing over the horizon, signifying it is time to catch your ride back to your hotel in Ljubljana.
