The guide gave us just the right amount of information. Lake Bled and the castle were absolutely stunning- well worth the visit. You have to pay 18 euros to get in the castle and can pay cash or card- worth it for the views. We took the platna boat to the island ( cash only) and that was good too. I have never seen water that colour- it really is turquoise! The Bled cream cake was gorgeous too- basically it’s a giant vanilla slice!
