My boyfriend and I visited this museum a day after we visited the birth place of Leonardo Da Vinci in Vinci, Italy, where you can also see many of the same inventions and exhibits in the historical museum there. Vinci is a small city, around an hour or so away from Florence. While we made an online booking for the interactive museum, I can confirm that the historical museum at Vinci is free to visit for anyone who has mobility problems or walking disabilities and their accompanying person. I recommend highly visiting both museums, especially because that way you can also understand better many of Da Vinci’s inventions and see how they work and are applied to in the real world. It was a great experience and we both have a wonderful and very funny time together while exploring the interactive exhibits! The employees at the souvenir shop and at the reception desk at the entrance of the interactive museum were smiling, very friendly and welcoming during our visit!
