Take €11-15 cash for the camel ride if you want to do it; they will try to sell you an optional photo afterwards but they’ll also happily take pics on your phone for you. The national park was surprisingly really good. You learn a lot and the live demonstrations alone are worth seeing. Avoid the queues and take the a tour; plus you have access to a bus drive through the lava that you can’t get in a car. It’s not a long tour but it’s a perfect half day excursion, and actually not to be missed for a visit to this island. We had Michael and Melvin as our guide and driver and I’d highly recommend them both.
The entire tour was fun and engaging. We did the camel ride as well as the tour of the park. Fun for all ages
