Absolutely such an awesome day! My study abroad friends and I decided to do both tours and we got stellar tour guides and an awesome experience. The Sound of Music Tour brought me back to my childhood, with some history on the side. The Salt Mines were unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before in this adorable German town! Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone and everyone.
Our guide Jose and driver Evo (apologies if I spelled it incorrectly) was wonderful. It was by far the best tour I had ever joined. The places we went to were beautiful. As a a fan of The Sound of Music, this was really amazing. We sang in the bus and everyone was very active and participative. Salzburg is a sight to see.
An enjoyable afternoon visiting some of the filming locations for The Sound of Music. Mitch, the tour guide, was very entertaining and provided lots of historical background to the making of the film and the impact it's had on Salzburg. The tour included some of the sights of the Austrian countryside.
Jose is a great guide, who brings a lot to the group with his knowledge, his anecdotes and his good humor! We had a great morning and had a fun experience... and singing!
Our tour was awesome! I feel like we really got to see so much of Salzburg through this tour, and we learned so much about the movie and characters!
