Explore the area around Uyuni on a 3-day tour. See handicrafts made of salt, stop at the Flags of the World, and visit the Chiguana Desert. Day 1 Meet your guide in Uyuni and begin your 3-day adventure. Head to the Train Graveyard, a cemetery full of abandoned trains. Stop at the small settlement of Colchani, which housed salt miners, and shop for handicrafts made of salt and textile art made of llama and alpaca fiber. Next, visit a hotel and museum made entirely out of salt. Bring your country's flag and place it at the Flags of the World, and stop at the Monument to Dakar racing. For an added fee, visit Incahuasi Island, a former island in the middle of the salt flats. Then, pose for some fun perspective- and proportion-distorted photos taken against the backdrop of the striking white surface of the salt flats. Finally, head to a spacious area for the unique experience of seeing a beautiful sunset over the salt flats, spreading its dazzling colors all over the Uyuni Salt Flats, and enjoying it with a glass of wine. First Night: Agencha 2/3/4/5/6-bed rooms + communal bathrooms. Day 2 Begin with an early breakfast before heading to Chiguana Desert. Stand surrounded by volcanoes and marvel at the still-active Ollagüe Volcano. Then, continue along the rocky road El Pasito Tuntun to reach the beautiful lagoons of Cañapa, Hedionda, and Chiarcota. Keep an eye out for the brilliantly colored flamingoes standing in the lagoons. Stop to enjoy lunch before heading to Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve (entry not included). Visit Siloli Desert and see the Rock Tree lava rock formation. Continue to Huayllajara, stopping at the Red Lagoon overlook point to see flamingos relaxing in the intense red colors of the lake. Second Night: Huayllajara Shared 6 –bed room (Same Group at the jeep car) + communal bathrooms. Day 3 Get off to an early start around 5:00 a.m. to visit the Sol de Mañana Geyser (5,000m) and walk next to fumaroles and steaming craters filled with boiling pots of mud at 150-200 Cº. then, have the opportunity to take a bath in an open air Hot Springs at a 35 Cº water. The next places to appreciate are the Dali Desert Marvel at the vivid colors of the Green and White Lagoons, created from the toxic copper water at the foot of the Licancabur Volcano. Then, head back to San Pedro de Atacama in Chile. Cross the Bolivian border with the help of your tour guide and finish your adventure at San Pedro de Atacama’s main square.

Start Time: 10:30 AM Day 1: Uyuni - Salt Flats Begin your tour at the Train Cemetery, where you’ll see abandoned wagons from the Bolivian Railway Company. Then, head to Colchani village to learn about salt production and browse local handicraft shops. As you enter the Uyuni Salt Flats, witness underground river aquifers and visit Flags Square, the Dakar Monument, and the world’s first salt hotel. Enjoy lunch and take unique panoramic, perspective, and mirror reflection photos. In the afternoon, explore Incahuasi Island, home to coral fossils and giant cacti, with stunning views of Tunupa Volcano. End the day with a breathtaking sunset over the salt flats before arriving at your salt hostel accommodation. Day 2: Salt Flats - Huayllajara After breakfast, stop in the small village of San Juan to buy snacks and use the restrooms. Then, observe the active Ollagüe Volcano, sacred to indigenous communities. Continue to the Andean lagoons of Cañapa, Hedionda, Chiarcota, and Honda, where you can see pink flamingos, Andean ducks, and seagulls. Lunch will be served near Hedionda Lagoon. After lunch, enter the Siloli Desert, one of the driest on Earth, located at 6,000 meters above sea level, and see the famous Stone Tree. Enter Bolivia’s most visited national park, the Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve. The day ends at the spectacular Red Lagoon, home to flocks of pink flamingos. After this, head to your accommodation in Huayllajara town. Day 3: Huayllajara - San Pedro de Atacama Wake up early to witness the sunrise at the Sol de Mañana Geysers. Then, relax in the Polques Hot Springs before heading to the Dali Desert, a surreal landscape reminiscent of Salvador Dalí’s paintings. Visit the Green Lagoon, located next to the towering Licancabur Volcano, which serves as a natural border with Chile. THE TOUR ENDS AT THE CHILEAN BORDER AT 9:30 AM. FROM THERE, YOU WILL BOARD A VEHICLE TO SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA, ARRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 12:30 PM.

Along the trip, visit: Salt eyes, Salt Hotel-Museum (Built entirely of salt blocks), Dakar Monument, Flags of the world, and finally, arrive at Incahuasi Island to appreciate the beautiful view and the giant cactus. At the end of the day, take your time in the sunset with a glass of wine, and get to the hotel for dinner time. Day Two / Chiguana + Ollague lookout point + Andean lagoons with flamingoes + Red lagoon After breakfast, go to visit the famous lagoons: Cañapa, Hedionda, Chiarcota, with a lot of flamingoes. Later, an exquisite lunch, Siloli desert, Stone Tree. At the final of the day, arrive at Red Lagoon which is inhabited by numerous flamingos, within these species there are 3 varieties: Chilean, James, and Andean. Finally, head to the hotel in the community of “Huayllajara” to have dinner, and rest Day Three / Geysers Sol de Mañana + Hot Springs Pool + Lookout point Green lagoon - White lagoon - Lincancabur Volcano + Transfer to San Pedro de Atacama Very early in the morning, after breakfast, go to "Sol de Mañana" geysers and enjoy a fantastic view along the way; this place has volcanic activity such as fumaroles and geysers (holes of bubbling mud, smoking, and a smell of sulfur). Also, visit the hot springs of Polques to take a bath and relax enjoying the most beautiful landscape. Then, the Salvador Dali Desert which offers spectacular views and multicolored rock formations of the volcanoes. Later, go up to the viewpoint of the Green Lagoon, White Lagoon, and Lincancabur Volcano. Finally, tour Guides will assist customers with their border crossing at 10:00 a.m. and people will arrive in San Pedro at 1:30 p.m. on the third day of the tour. **Sometimes people need to pay a fee in the Bolivian border (15 Bolivianos) bring in Cash please. Day 1: Train Cemetery - Colchani - Hotel de Sal - Isla Incahuasi Start of the tour will start with the visit of the train cemetery to see the old locomotives. Then we go to the community of Colchani (the entrance door to the Salar) where we will find rustic handicraft workshops and the rustic micro-processing of table salt. Continuing with the expedition to the majestic Salar de Uyuni we will make stops to see salt extractions, eyes of the salar and the hotel of Sal Playa Blanca that currently only works as a museum. Later we will visit the most popular island of the Salar located in the middle of the Salar, the Incahuasi island where we will walk and we can appreciate large expanses of cactus, sea rock fossils and spectacular 360 ° views from the viewpoint. At the end of our tour, we went to our salt lodge to rest Day 2: Ollague Volcano Viewpoint - Lagunas de Altura - Siloli Desert - Stone Tree - Laguna Colorada The day starts with a breakfast at the salt lodge. We start to the viewpoint of the Ollague volcano, to appreciate a volcanic desert landscape and the scarce high-Andean vegetation. Then visit Chiarkota lagoon, Laguna Hedionda (name due to the smell of sulfur), Onda lagoon, Ramaditas lagoon these lagoons are surrounded by flamingos which use them as feeding and resting points during their migratory movements and for the noonday it is tasted lunch on the route. We continue our journey to the Siloli desert where the stone tree is found (strange rocky shape). We continue our way to Laguna Colorada which is very striking because of its reddish color. Continuing, we arrive at the town of Huayllajara where we will taste a dinner, and spend the night in a community family lodging Day 3: Fumaroles - Thermal springs of Polques - Green Lagoon - Valley of the rocks - San Cristóbal - Uyuni The day starts very early in the morning with a breakfast and departure to the fumaroles and cracks in the earth where volcanic lava, sulphurous gases. Following the route we will arrive at the thermal waters (waters that are beneficial for the healing of arthritis) where you can take a bath and restful rest, the water has a temperature of 25 to 32 ° C. We continue the journey through the second desert in our tour of Salvador Dalí which has an excellent panoramic view and resemble this desert landscape. Afterwards, we arrive at the green lagoon (high mineral content gives it its characteristic color), located at the foot of the Licancabur volcano (5,916 masl). Then we went to the town of Uyuni making stops to visit Villa Mar, Valle de las Rocas, the town of San Cristóbal, its Stone Church and finally we continued to finish our tour in the town of Uyuni. Optional Transfer to San Pedro de Atacama: After visiting the green lagoon, you can make the transfer to Hito Cajones border between Chile and Bolivia for later transfer to San Pedro de Atacama in shared transport (Check the extra price for the transfer)

Watch the sunset over the salt flat, then head to your accommodation at a salt lodge. Day 2: Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve After breakfast, head to the community of San Juan to buy snacks and use the restrooms. See the Ollagüe volcano, an active volcano sacred to indigenous communities. Continue to the highland lagoons of Cañapa, Hedionda, Chiarkota, and Honda. Pink flamingos, Andean ducks, and seagulls are easy to photograph here. Lunch will be served near Hedionda Lagoon. After lunch, head into the Siloli Desert, 6,000 meters above sea level. This area is home to the famous Stone Tree and other giant rock formations. Travel through Bolivia's most visited national park and see Laguna Colorada, home of pink flamingos. Head to your accommodation in Huayllajara. Day 3: Salar de Uyuni Wake up early for breakfast, then head to the Sol de Mañana geysers. Next, relax in the Polkes hot springs. Head to the Dali Desert, a surreal destination reminiscent of Salvador Dali's iconic paintings. Continue south, stopping at Laguna Verde, located next to the Licancabur volcano. Here, say goodbye to travelers continuing on to Chile. After saying goodbye at the Hito Cajones border, begin the return trip to Uyuni. Stop for lunch and visit the Valley of the Rocks, known for its impressive rock formations. Finally, visit the town of San Cristobal, the last one before Uyuni, where you'll see a 16th-century church. Arrive in Uyuni around 5:30 p.m.

We will leave in the direction of the Uyuni salt flat, passing by the train cemetery and the village of Colchani, where we can buy handicrafts. Once inside the salt flat, we will visit the Salt Museum, and travel to Incahuasi Island, a calcareous rock formation in the center of the salt flat. Here, we will be able to walk the trail, see the giant cactus and have a privileged view of the salt flat from the top of the hill. We will finish the day watching the sunset inside the salt flat, and then transfer to the hostel, where we will have dinner and rest for the next day. Day 2: Ollague Volcano Viewpoint - Siloli Desert - Arbol de Piedra - Lagunas Coloradas The day begins with breakfast at the salt lodge. We leave to the Ollague volcano viewpoint, to appreciate a volcanic desert landscape and the scarce high Andean vegetation. Then we visit Chiarkota lagoon, Laguna Hedionda (name due to the smell of sulfur), Onda lagoon, Ramaditas lagoon, these lagoons are surrounded by flamingos which use them as feeding and resting points during their migratory movements and by midday we have lunch on the road. We continue our journey to the Siloli desert where we find the stone tree (strange rocky form). We continue our way to Laguna Colorada which is very striking for its reddish color. Continuing, we arrive to the town of Huayllajara where we will have dinner and spend the night in a family community lodging (basic lodging). Day 3: Fumarolas - Polques Hot Springs - Laguna Verde -Uyuni We will leave very early in the morning to see the sunrise at the Morning Sun geysers, intermittent sources of water gushing at a temperature of 90 °C, and where we will have the opportunity to take pictures taking advantage of the contrasts of the first lights and steam. We will also visit the Polques hot springs (time for a bath according to the tour times), the Salvador Dalí desert, and the Green Lagoon and the White Lagoon, located at the foot of the Licancabur volcano. We will also pass through the Valley of Rocks and San Cristobal, and then continue our return directly to Uyuni, where we will finish the tour.
