The kayak tour was amazing! We’re so glad that we booked it. Amazing views of the coast line, inside caves and a stop in a beach cove for some food and drink. The location was easy to get to on the bus from La Spezia and Davide was kind enough to give us a lift back. Would book again if I’m ever back visiting La Spezia.

Full description

Explore the Bay of Poets on this guided kayaking tour from Lerici. Let your local guide lead you through sea caves, hidden coves, and stretches of coastline accessible only by kayak.

Meet your guide directly on the beach at 4:30 pm and set off at a relaxed pace along the eastern coast of the bay. Paddle past the charming villages of San Terenzo and Lerici, and take in breathtaking views of the surrounding cliffs and islands.

Stop to swim in crystal-clear waters, take photos from unique vantage points, and relax on peaceful beaches as the golden hour approaches. Your guide will show you the best spots to admire the silhouettes of Portovenere, and the islands glowing in the warm evening light.

Before heading back, enjoy a delicious aperitivo with light snacks and drinks served on the beach at sunset, making this experience truly unforgettable.

Baia Blu free beach is our meeting point at 4:30pm (you can find us on Google Maps too) If you're driving, park at the lot above the beach and walk down. Remember that the lot at the entrance is reserved for beach club members. At the entrance, follow the path to the free beach on the left, you'll see the kayaks along the way.

Our tour was at the 27th of June, so the beginning of summer. We have loved to see all the different tiny villages from the ocean, the pretty lonely beaches and caves, which our tour guide Davide showed us. We were able to stop at some of these amazing places and take a swim, while the sun was slowly setting. Davide also brought some Focaccia and drinks for us. He gave us some good instructions on how to handle the Kajak, and we had very nice conversations with him. All in all this was a fantastic way to experience the beautiful coast of La Spezia.
