A great day overall with some fantastic places, sights and sounds. So fortunate to happen upon the Lemons festival in Montorosso. Only thing to improve would be the sound system on the boat as we couldn't hear and understand anything spoken by the guide.

Exactly as described. The boat was very comfortable and a great way to see a sample of the Cinque Terra villages if you don’t have much time or don’t want to hike or squish on the train. The multilingual guide was very good providing information along the way and the provided map with a suggested walking route to see the highlights in each village was also very good. You get a reasonable amount of time in each village and the cruise up the coast and approaching from the sea provides beautiful views. I’d be happy to do this again.

Full description

Experience the Cinque Terre coast by boat and take in gorgeous views of vineyards terraces and charming buildings from the sea. Make time to stop at Riomaggiore or Portovenere, then Monterosso, and Vernazza along the way.


Start at 10:00 a.m. in La Spezia's harbor and sail through the Gulf of the Poets .

Sail to the first stop: Riomaggiore or Portovenere ( depends on tour availability ) and marvel the beauty of the Village.

In Monterosso al Mare, explore the medieval historic center and marvel at the parish church dedicated to St. John, the Baptist.

Then continue the sailing to Vernazza, the pearl of the Cinque Terre. Vernazza presents itself to visitors as the prow of a ship: most of the village is in fact built on a small promontory that ends at the sea with an imposing fortification system.


At the end of the tour, enjoy free time and take the chance to taste the local wine and food for lunch, or go for a swim in the crystal-clear water of the Mediterranean before returning to La Spezia at 6:00 p.m.

  • In case of bad weather and rough seas, an alternative date will be proposed. In the event that it is not possible to rearrange the tour, the customer will receive a full refund of the ticket.
  • In the event of only rough seas outside the Gulf with favorable weather conditions, we will give customers the possibility of taking an alternative tour with a stop in Porto Venere with a guide on land included. In this case, the ticket will be refunded 50%. If sea is calm and allow to stop also in Riomaggiore, the ticket will be refunded 20%.

Sailing along the coast of Cinque Terre was one of the highlights of our trip. Seeing the colorful villages from the sea gives you a whole new perspective—something you just can’t experience from land. The cliffs, the sparkling Ligurian Sea, and the way each village is tucked into the hillsides make for breathtaking views. The boat itself was clean and comfortable, and the crew was both professional and friendly. They gave interesting bits of history without overloading us, and even let us stop for a swim in a crystal-clear if you wanted. There was a full bar and snacks on board, which made it feel extra special. If you’re visiting Cinque Terre, I’d 100% recommend this boat tour. It’s comfortable. scenic, and gives you time to relax away from the crowds on land.
