Departure and Return Information: Departure Point: The ferry departs from the Port of Corralejo, located in northern Fuerteventura. Arrival Point: The ferry docks at El Muelle, the main pier on Lobos Island. Duration: The boat ride takes approximately 20 minutes. Return Times: On the day of your visit, choose from a variety of return times: 11:40, 14:20, and 17:00. Additional return options at 16:00 and 18:00 are available from July to September, subject to availability. What to Expect on Lobos Island: Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by the statue of Josefina Plá, a renowned Spanish writer and poet born on the island, located next to the Visitor Centre. Lobos Island is a protected Natural Park, offering visitors a unique landscape of volcanic formations, secluded beaches, and untouched nature. Please note that there are no shops, restaurants, or drinking water sources on the island, so visitors should bring all essentials, including food, water, sunscreen, and appropriate footwear. Exploring the Island: El Puertito: A charming former fishing village located to the right of the harbour. It features rustic buildings and a white sandy beach with shallow turquoise waters, ideal for a refreshing dip. La Concha Beach (La Caleta): Located to the left of the harbour, this crescent-shaped beach is perfect for families and sunbathers. Its calm waters provide a great spot for swimming. La Caldera Volcano: The island’s highest peak at 127 metres. The hike takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes round trip and rewards hikers with spectacular panoramic views of Fuerteventura and Lanzarote. Faro de Lobos (Lobos Lighthouse): Located in the northernmost part of the island, this historic lighthouse was once maintained by Josefina Plá’s father. The total walk around the island, including the lighthouse, takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. Important Reminders: Lobos Island has limited daily visitor access to protect its fragile ecosystem. Your ticket includes entry management, ensuring compliance with regulations. Respect the island’s rules: stay on marked trails, avoid disturbing wildlife, and take all waste back with you. If you depart before 13:00, you’ll have the opportunity to explore Isla de Lobos before the main activity starts. Alternatively, you’ll stay on board until the mini-cruise and snorkelling adventure begins at 13:20, with the option to explore the island afterwards. The Snorkel and Minicruise Experience The experience starts with a short 10-minute boat ride along the island’s southern coast, offering picturesque views of El Puertito, an old fishing port with its white sand beach and the island’s only restaurant, as you enjoy a drink on board.Afterwards, take a relaxing 25-minute swim in the crystal-clear waters near the island’s coast, perfect for snorkelling and discovering the lobos marine life. Return Times Following the snorkelling session, you can choose from several return times to Corralejo: 14:20, 17:00, with additional options at 16:00 and 18:00 available from July to September. These return times can be selected on the same day, giving you flexibility to plan your visit as you wish. Exploring Isla de Lobos La Concha Beach (La Caleta): Just a 7-minute walk from the landing point, this shell-shaped beach is perfect for relaxing and swimming. La Caldera Volcano: A 127-metre volcanic cone offering spectacular views of Fuerteventura and Lanzarote. The round trip hike takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Lobos Lighthouse: Located in the north of the island, this historic lighthouse is a perfect spot to unwind and admire the sea and Lanzarote’s volcanoes. A full island exploration takes roughly 2 hours and 30 minutes. Important Information Isla de Lobos is a land of lava that feels frozen in time. Its dry, volcanic, and rugged terrain, devoid of trees and radiating an intense energy, creates an otherworldly landscape. This unique environment ensures a truly magnificent day in this serene and enigmatic natural paradise. Please note, there are no shops on the island. Stop to see Popcorn Beach, a rare beach where the sand resembles popcorn. The way to the west coast is an off-road path that leads to an impressive north shore and a small village called Majanicho. A place where the world stands still. Finish the day on the west coast in El Cotillo. This trending old fisher village has a beautiful beach and coastline. Depart Lanzarote and cross to the neighboring island of Fuerteventura for a day trip. First, travel by bus to the harbor of Playa Blanca, Lanzarote, and board the Lineas Romero fast ferry and sail to Corralejo on Fuerteventura.   On arrival, get a welcome from your experienced guide as you board a comfortable air-conditioned coach. Make the first stop at the picturesque fishing village of El Cotillo, where you can stroll the beachfront and watch the waves roll in. Discover the most beautiful spots the village has to offer: roam its streets, relax on one of the beaches, or visit Castillo El Tostón, the tower built in the 15th Century to defend the coast from African, French, and English pirates. Then, stop off in the heart of Corralejo town to explore at your own pace. Discover all that the town has to offer, including the narrow streets, seafood restaurants, and old cottages that date back to the town's days as a fishermen's village. Then, go to the dunes of Corralejo Natural Park for some fun and photo opportunities. Have some free time in the afternoon to enjoy the fabulous white sand beach, where you can top up your tan or take a dip in the Atlantic Ocean. Return by coach to the port at Corralejo for the boat ride back to Lanzarote. On arrival, board the transfer bus back to your drop-off point.
