Lyon: escape game in the Vieux Lyon

Lyon: escape game in the Vieux Lyon

The Vieux-Lyon escape game is funny and full of unusual discoveries. It's an escape game that is cultural, since you will learn lots of things about the Vieux-Lyon, and also fun, because there are well-crafted puzzles and an original code to crack. The escape game lasts 2 hours, there are 15 stages in the most beautiful places in the Vieux Lyon (Saint John's cathedral, archeological garden, the traboules...). At each stage there is a riddle to solve in order to get a letter of the mystery sentence. When in the end you find the sentence, you win, and receive a real gift from Lyon! The activity is very unifying, it is designed to allow participants to have a good time together, laughing and searching (and finding!) together. It's also a great activity to do as a family because there are children's and adult versions of the game. The costumed game masters lead the game, help and share knowledge and anecdotes about Lyon heritage. They also take professional photos to send you for free. The meeting point with the game master (wearing a green cape) is at 3 rue des Estrées, 69005 Lyon.

Big traboules in Little Lyon : private walking tour

Is Bellecour still "belle"? Why do theathre actors keep skeletons of monks? What secrets hide in the secret traboules? Were there ever any lions in Lyon? Let's find out! Starting at Bellecour square near the statue of Louis XIV (the largest pedestrian square in Europe, so it's easy to find), we will pass from Presqu'île to the Vieux Lyon, going back in centuries; The traboules of the old town will guide us through rich, sometimes turbulent, and sometimes dangerous past of the city; Little by little we will wind up at the Fourviere hill to see the part of Lyon as it was some two thousand years ago at the age when Cesar had just subdued the Gauls (or had he?); A glance in the Basilica Notre-Dame de Fourviere will show what people can achieve when they are really grateful (and what happens when they run out of budget...:) The walk takes about 2.5-3 hours, but since it is a private tour, everything, including the route and meeting point can be adjusted to suit your needs and interests.
