Great day-out, with excellent pre-trip comms from our fab guide Pawel, who was punctual, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Cheese and (plentiful) Vodka tasting of two flavours was excellent. We had lots of time to explore Zakopane. Funicular was good and we would recommend a 40-mins ridge flat walk overlooking the beautiful mountain range to the Butorowy Wierch Chair Lift, suggested by our guide, which was a 20-mins round trip bonus. The ridge top hike included lots of bars and souvenir / food stalls, so there was lots to do on the ridge. We also had time to visit the local Gubalowka brewery and explore the lovely town of Zakopane. Overall an amazing experience.
Our guide Olaf was incredible. He was so knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. We had an invaluable insight into the history of Zakopane and he was a very safe driver. It was a fascinating day out and made all the more pleasurable by Olaf who we would highly recommend.
