Fantastic journey and highly informative about entire day in Auschwitz Birkenau.
We had a few puzzling texts and WhatsApp messages which made us apprehensive. the 4.50am start was a bit of a shock but when we arrived in Auschwitz we understood why. There was a queue but fortunately a good restaurant for coffee and snacks. Our guide (Suzanna) was excellent with clear explanations and was very calm. On balance we were pleased we booked this trip and would recommend although communication before the trip could be improved (we were told that last minute changes were often necessary and when we arrived we realised why)

Step into history with a visit to the Auschwitz-Birkenau memorial. Learn about the tragic history of the largest Holocaust memorial from your guide.
Be picked up from the comfort of your accommodation in Krakow and board a comfortable bus for the 1.5-hour trip to the Auschwitz-Birkenau complex, a historic site that serves as an important Holocaust memorial.
Explore the museum in the outskirts of Oświęcim, approximately 60 kilometers west of Krakow. Upon arrival, meet a local guide who will show you around the site and tell you about its inhuman history.
Find out how Auschwitz-Birkenau has become both a symbol of human suffering and a witness to physical and emotional exhaustion during a respectful tour with a licensed guide.
Walk through the gate marked "Arbeit Macht Frei" (work frees) to enter Auschwitz 1, where your guide will show you around the preserved area and introduce the history of the place.
Spend approximately an hour in Birkenau, where the mass killings as part of the Nazi "Final Solution to the Jewish Question" took place. After the visit, you can reflect on the experience during the ride back to Krakow.

- The pickup time may change (the possible start of the tour is usually between 5:00 AM and 1:30 PM), so please consider this in your plans. You choose a preferred time, which is not guaranteed. We will communicate the exact start time the day before the tour.
- As per the requirements of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum, all participants must provide their full name and contact details as part of the booking. Names cannot be changed after booking.
- In rare cases when no guide will not be avialable, the tour may be changed to self-guided tour with a guidebook in your language
- You are not permitted to enter the museum with large bags or backpacks (the maximum size allowed is 20 x 30 centimeters)
- The pace and duration of the tours are determined by the memorial's visitor service.
- For non-English guided tours, note that the excursion leader may not speak your chosen language; it applies only to the museum tour itself.
- It is recommended that you bring lunch and drinks with you.
