Full description

Begin the day taking a ferry from Kardamena port enjoying your mini cruise on Mediterranean Sea.
Once you have arrived get on a bus accompanied by experience guide and drive to Volcano crater.
During the ride listen to history of the island, customs and everyday life of domestic people.
Walk up the hill to explore volcanic crater and feel cosmic atmosphere around you.
Return to the port of Mandraki and stroll in its charming little streets.
Buy souvenirs made of black lava in small local shops located around the port.

The volcano is a great place to discover. The landscape, sensations, and smells transport you to another dimension. As we don't speak English very well, we were disappointed not to understand all the explanations given by the guide. The sound in the bus was very low, which didn't help. The cost is still a little high, as you don't even get a bottle of water. There was no music or atmosphere on the boat during the cruise. The schedule was adhered to.

The visit to the volcanic crater was very impressive. Mandraki is a beautiful little village. We would have liked to spend more time in both places. The crater in particular requires a fair amount of physical effort to visit.
