Start your day with pickup from Hongik University Station or Myeongdong Station. Travel to Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Korea’s most important historical treasures. Explore the only remaining walled fortress in Korea. Afterward, head to the Gwangmyeong Cave which is 7.8 km long, it is the largest themed cave park with aquariums, sculptures, light shows, children's amusements, and an underground winery. Visitors can experience wine at Wine Cave, as well as Cave Aqua world. Lastly head to Suwon Nammun Market which has 1000 years history, it is the oldest traditional market in Korea. You can indulge in local delicacies and crafts here. Finally, return to the meeting point in Seoul.

Your tour will begin in Seoul, the vibrant capital city of South Korea. After meeting tour guide and fellow travelers, you'll set out for an exciting day of exploration and discovery! UNESCO World Heritage-listed Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, located in the city of Suwon. This magnificent fortress was built during the late 18th century by King Jeongjo of the Joseon Dynasty as a defensive fortification. As you approach the fortress walls, you'll be awestruck by their imposing size and well-preserved condition. Walk along the ancient walls and learn about the historical significance of this remarkable architectural masterpiece. Hwaseong Haenggung, a fortified palace complex. This palace served as a temporary residence for the Joseon kings and their entourage during their travels outside the capital. Admire the beautiful traditional architecture and imagine the grandeur of royal life during the Joseon Dynasty. Knowledgeable guide will provide insights into the palace's history and the important events that took place here. For the full day tour, lunch time is given(with your own expenses). After having lunch time, visit Korean Folk Village in Yongin. It introduces traditional culture from the late Joseon period to both local and international visitors through cultural classes experience, shaman faith, seasonal customs and others. It recreated the past through the restoration of houses from the Joseon dynasty. Performances including nongak (farmer’s music), martial arts on horseback, traditional wedding ceremony, and other special events are available by season. After tour ends, return to Seoul and be dropped off near Myeongdong station.

This was the main home of the Josun Dynasty constructed in 1395. This is a stunning building with 7,700 rooms! The palace did take a few hits over the years, which makes it all the more interesting to see today! One of the first stops on our Seoul tour will be the Changing of the Guard Ceremony which is a beloved old tradition. Then, we will visit one of Seoul’s main palaces – Gyeongbok Palace which is home to thousands of years worth of history and has survived many turbulent events. After taking a lunch break, we’ll continue with our Seoul City Tour by heading over to two local markets – Insadong Arts and Crafts Market. Here, you can find beautiful local treasures to bring home to your loved ones and sample quirky little snacks and Korean street food. Once you’ve had your full of Korean treats, we’ll treat you to some magical views of downtown Seoul on the Namsan Cable Car. This well-known Korean landmark offers captivating views of Namsan Mountain and downtown Seoul as you ascend the 605-metre-long cable to the top. The last destination will be the first largest traditional market in Korea called Namdaemun Market. Various goods in store such as children’s, men’s and women’s wear. The displayed goods are sold at a reasonable price and it also functions as a wholesale market. Finally, we will drop you off at either Myeongdong or City Hall after a magical full day tour in Seoul.
