This is an amazing boat trip with lunch and visit to the island of Spinalonga. Spinalonga is a magnificent island with fortresses dating from the Venetian period. It is an island of legends, a triumph to survival in the early 20th century from the scourge of leprosy, now a place of great archaeological and historical significance. The trip starts from the main harbour of Agios Nikolaos at 10:00am. As you cruise through Mirabello bay you feel the sea breeze and have memorable view of the land’s beauty. On board you have the opportunity to listen to information about the places you see (Kri-Kri island, Sunken city of Olous, the Cave of the pirate Barba-Rossa). The first stop is Spinalonga where you stay for 1,5 hour in order to make the tour. We give you a booklet with information and a map of the island in order to have a self-guided tour. Later the boat takes you on the other side of the Kolokytha island and moors at the beach of the same name, a breathtaking beach with crystal-clear turquoise waters. There you have 1,5 hour to explore this isolated beach, relax, swim and sunbathe, meanwhile our crew prepares a traditional Cretan menu for you which includes roasted pork, a seasonal salad and bread . Vegetarians and vegans can enjoy a tortilla with vegetables, bread and salad. It takes about an hour of a slow cruise along Mirabello gulf to arrive at Kolokytha beach. The boat will anchor there and you will be able to enjoy the turquoise, crystal clear waters for about one hour and fifteen minutes. Relax on the boat, and explore these isolated beaches. Then, head to Spinalonga, the famous lepers’ island. Take a cruise around the waters of the Island and then head to the second hidden paradise, the Skistra gulf. Revel in a perfect place for snorkeling and relaxing. Stop there for approximately one hour and fifteen minutes. About 1 hour later we arrive to our first swim stop in the beach of Glaronisi or kolokythia which is an island right across the famous kolokytha beach where you can enjoy the famous turquoise waters away from the crowds, try snorkeling and SUP paddle boarding. 30 minutes later the boat will depart to sail around the iconic Spinalonga Island and you will get the opportunity to admire it from the sea which offers the most stunning view (No disembarkation). After than the boat will anchor in the secluded bay of Schistra for 1 more hour to enjoy the peace and the crystal clear waters. There you will also have the opportunity to enjoy our exclusive menu. The first course includes some Cretan appetizers based on olive oil and herbs and freshly cut Greek salad. The main course is Shrimp Linguini or a mushroom risotto suitable for vegan, vegetarian and Gluten free diets and finally the last course is a platter of Mediterranean and tropical fruits.Shortly after, the boat will will set sails to head back to the Marina after a day full of great memories.
